What you'd be doing:

  • Designated Security Officer: accountable for security, compliance, and incident response
  • Establish and maintain risk/vulnerability management program
  • Develop and participate in coordinated incident response systems, protocols, and communication processes
  • Evaluate and deploy network, infrastructure, and information security products
  • Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Collaborate with and train personnel to implement security policies policies
  • Prepare for compliance audits and facilitate them in coordination with organization leads
  • Foster a culture of security, privacy, and compliance awareness and participation
  • Inform senior leadership of program progress and incidents

Experience we require:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise or public-sector security operations or as a  security leader with responsibilities over networks and software systems
  • Leadership abilities, with the capacity to develop and guide security team members and technical personnel
  • Experience developing and implementing network, infrastructure, and information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Experience contributing to security and risk management programs that meet company objectives
  • Understanding of program management practices, and experience participating in project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans
  • A minimum of seven years of IT experience with at least three years at a senior level
  • Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or other similar credentials are a plus
  • Occasional travel required
