About this Position

The Head of Sales is a dynamic and results-driven individual who will lead the sales teams and revenue-generating disciplines in El Paso County, Colorado. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue-generating activities, building strong community and business relationships, and positioning Underline as the local market leader for telecommunications infrastructure services. The Head of Sales will coordinate closely with national leadership to execute strategy, optimize local performance, and ensure operational excellence. (Note: This position does not carry full P&L responsibility.)

What you'd be doing:

  • Revenue Generation: Drive local sales initiatives, partnerships, and business development activities to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop high-performing local sales teams focused on client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction across residential, MDU, and business client segments. 
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations  to enhance the company’s presence and reputation.
  • Operational Coordination: ​Partner with local and national operational resources to ensure a streamline and well-orchestrated workflow 
  • Client Experience: Champion a client-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service delivery and rapid resolution of issues.
  • Market Leadership: Serve as the face of Underline in the local market, developing and executing strategies to establish and maintain market leadership.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work in close partnership with national leadership and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Client Success, Technical Operations) to ensure seamless execution of company

Experience we require:

  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, technology, or a related industry, with a proven track record in sales, operations, or general management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the local market landscape and client needs.
