Underline was founded in 2019 with a singular mission: to ensure the vibrancy of our nation through building intelligent community infrastructure in a socially equitable manner. We work with American communities to design, finance, and construct open access fiber-optic networks. These networks are critical to secure internet access that’s fast, affordable, and fair. As open access networks, this infrastructure is also the essential foundation for distributed healthcare services, new wireless solutions, and resilient infrastructure including modernized water systems and responsible energy creation. Our first two projects are in Colorado Springs and Fountain, Colorado.

We’re looking for a full-time IT Support Engineer to join our Engineering team. This individual will be responsible for supporting end user technologies, including laptops, printers, and network systems of all types providing technical support for Underline employees.

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers 
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Log bugs and enhancement requests
• Providing technical support across the company (this will be in person and over the phone)
• Maintain existing and author new process documentation regarding the Underline IT needs
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology
• Application training for new employees

• Associate’s degree or above in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Prior experience working on a Helpdesk, in IT, or similar technical function
• Experience troubleshooting operating systems
• Proficient with MAC OS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiar with a range of software applications
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds

• Project Management skills
• G-Suite knowledge
